Motor Vehicle Delivery Checklists

Tampa

  1. ORIGINAL TITLE (SIGNED BY NEW OWNER IN BLUE INK). If vehicle is new, and never been titled, dealer needs to provide MSO or certificate of origin. If back of title is full, provide a MOTOR VEHICLE REASSIGNMENT FORM (available at your dealer)
  2. ORIGINAL, NOTARIZED EXPORT POWER OF ATTORNEY (SIGNED IN BLUE INK). If customer is in Cayman, local notaries are OK.
  3. COPY OF PICTURE PAGE OF PASSPORT (NEED TO SEE PICTURE, SIGNATURE, DOCUMENT NUMBER & EXPIRATION DATE) AND DRIVERS LICENSE
  4. MACHINERY: Invoice of declared value or (BILL OF SALE) notarized and signed by both Parties.
  5. MOTORBIKES:  Must be crated for exports.  All items above apply.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT ALL SIGNATURES MATCH WHAT IS ON THE PASSPORT!!!

  • If vehicle is consigned to a company, then an authorization letter is necessary, please call in to have a sample faxed to you.
  • All vehicles for export are put on a 3 business day hold by US Customs, sorry no exceptions.
  • Vehicle must have no more than ¼ tank of gasoline.
  • No personal effects may be left in the vehicle.
  • BOOKING must be made with THOMPSON LINE prior to delivery of vehicle.

  2. ORIGINAL, NOTARIZED EXPORT POWER OF ATTORNEY (SIGNED IN BLUE INK). If customer is in Cayman, they should go to the Collector of Customs to Obtain letter of identity and have the POA signed.
  3. COPY OF PICTURE PAGE OF PASSPORT (NEED TO SEE PICTURE, SIGNATURE, DOCUMENT NUMBER & EXPIRATION DATE) and page showing immigration entry seal to the US.
  4. MACHINERY: Invoice of declared value or (BILL OF SALE) notarized and signed by both Parties.
  5. MOTORBIKES: Must be crated for export. All Items as above apply.
